Russia, Time to ‘Make Them An Offer They Can’t Refuse’?

In an early Hungarian children story, “Magic Cat” (A Büvos Macska), the evil Sultana comes to an agreement with a Wizard in return for concocting a serum which transforms the son of the King into a cat, making her son heir to the Kingdom. But not before she can kill the cat.

I find story points to the importance of timing and being open to finding friends and deals in the most unexpected times and places.    

If ‘Cash is King,’ then Japan rules. U.S. Steel is reportedly ready to cut a deal with Nippon Steel for a tender offer of $14.9 billion in cash. 

Hungary, it appears Turkey stalled for time in a deal to get fighter jets. Will you too get F-16s in return? Sounds like a ‘buyers’ market’ with all the US military and commercial plane crashes.

Lockheed, looks like April Fool’s Day came early, “US pilot safely ejects before his F-16 fighter jet crashes in South Korean Sea.” Can’t say I’m surprised. Recall my words weeks ago, “Wouldn’t want to see another ‘Stealth Bomber Down’ where ‘sensors provided faulty data.’  Will you pull an ‘April Fools’ where pilots ‘cut it close’ forced to eject?”

Viktor Orban, interested in a few MAXs from Boe? But be reminded, Time does not always fly when you’re having fun as the Americans like to say. Unsafe to fly some say. Others think something is better than nothing. Ask China. Heard “209 MAX planes on order.”

Beijing, national security not a big concern? Something tells me ‘critical issues’ Americans face don’t apply to Boe’s biggest customer.

Sweden, before end of the year, will NATO membership become neither here nor there? Jens, you are partly correct in your assessment. “China and Russia have nothing like NATO.” Unlike NATO, they answer NOT to the US and their arsenal is amassed and highly advanced.

Jens says “Sweden’s membership makes NATO stronger and us all safer.” Safer as when you took no sides in both World War I and World War II? Stronger as when you did NOT oppose Germany, ultimately fighting against the Allies? Appears you’re willing to bet on Nietzsche words.

If so, be reminded of the UNSAFE global state of affairs – PREDICTABLE. As is said in the New Germany, what HAS NOT YET killed you makes you weaker longer. Ask Ukraine. Of course, you could simply ‘hope’ as Poland’s Radek Sikorski says.

Jens, you speak of ‘a world without rules.’ So you adhere to what U.S. proposes as ‘rules based.’ And who made up these rules?  U.S., did you take these from your colonizing, invading and ruling days or do you make them up as you go along?

Blinken is partly correct, “Presence of our forces in both Iraq and Syria has nothing to do with Gaza…” Looking for ISIS, really? Thought you paid trillions to seek and get rid of your so called Bogeymen? Funny, in the ‘forever war’ game of ‘hide and seek’ conflict always seems to find you.

And sure enough, as I pointed out weeks ago in “US Defense & Aerospace – Prone to Drone and Crash & Burn!” White House called on Palantir and other tech start ups for UADs and UASs.

So tell us, Pal and friends, with all your surveillance gadgets and so called COUNTER Unmanned Aerial Systems plus Defense use of satellites, how did you let one slip by the enemy on a US base in Jordan?
