“Airman Teixeira was trained as a cyber transport systems specialist…”So what exactly is a CTS specialist? Looks like “3D1X2 – Cyber Transport Systems” falls under a list of ‘specialty codes’ no longer in use by the Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC).

Yet, on the career page of the AFSC under Cyber Transport Systems, we not only find the heading ‘Protect our information,’ but note the responsibilities of a CTS Specialist are to ‘ensure our information is secure and our technology remains steps ahead of the enemy.”  U.S., who ya kidding? Now that the enemy’s got the info how many more steps is your tech behind?

NG Qualifications? Basically any healthy high school graduate with an interest in electronics. But get this, it’s not just the young and restless. It’s the, well, more mature, up to age 39 who can apply. I heard recruitment was down, but damn!

Jack may become infamous but he is no Black Jack, English pirate known to have eluded authorities. And he’s no Bugsy.  As Bugs Bunny says, “It just goes to show ya that a one-eyed jack rabbit can beat a King.”

You see Westerners, a time arises when “a well-placed pawn is more powerful than a King.”
