National & Economic Security: Stripping U.S. Priceless “Bargaining CHIPS”

Question foreign investment in U.S. and some may view it as politically incorrect. “The Japanese will be offended,” says Heino Klinck, a retired U.S. Army colonel.

Colonel, as my family & friends in law enforcement say, ‘Better to be judged by 12 than be carried out by 6.”

Paradox of Pearl Harbor Attack: OIL was a principle driving force as negotiations failed between Japan and US. Eighty plus years later, the Japanese win a deal to take over a US central source – STEEL.

If ‘Cash is King,’ then Japan rules. U.S. Steel reportedly cut a deal with Nippon Steel for a tender offer of $14.9 billion in cash.

So what’s the big deal? Ever find your car stolen and stripped down? It’s a gut awful feeling to know that like a home invasion, thieves entered your private domain, taking it apart piece by piece.

Steel Kings, as I note in “Roadsters and Fraudsters, Can’t Start a Dead Car!” imagine showcasing an ‘apple car” that turns out to be a rotten apple cart?

Liken to thieves, GREEDY UNPATRIOTIC BASTARDS strip us of our hard earned precious belongings: homeland and job security.

Americans, don’t you find it dangerously ironic that the names topping your glorified sports stadiums and University schools include Middle Eastern businesses? Companies contracted by your government to service student and other financial loans.

The Sports Business Journal reported in 2022 that “The NFL, MLB, NCAA and NASCAR penned a joint letter to Congress back in June promoting a proposal from the Biden Administration that would have extended and grown the existing Preventing Emerging Threats Act, which was originally signed in 2018 and just expired.”

So WTF happened? “Biden’s proposal would have not only granted the authority for on-site federal agencies to bring down drones, but also expand drone detection…” Appears it was DOA.

But China IP theft is the focus? Joe, hear you now like China’s ‘TikTok.’ Why if you ordered Americans ban its use? Well, it sure was useful for Chinese fleeing to America.

In the last Presidential Election, Joe waved to all to come, and the world responded. And I mean everyone! Recent 60 Minutes story shed light on Asians walking through cut border fences undeterred.

Border Control. Joe, why now and not in 2021? Global Migrant and Refugee influx is out of control due to wars and gutless policies. NOT CLIMATE CHANGE – the scapegoat Sweden, wannabe NATO member, would have you believe.

Right, the same Swedes who dumped toxic waste in South America. Why? So you, the US, would flip the bill. But there’s another way into US Foreign Investments.

“As the Japanese put it, ‘engineers make the pie grow larger; lawyers only decide how to carve it up.’”  – Derek Bo, President at Harvard, 1983

Nippon Steel, how will you grow U.S. Steel and ‘carve it up’?  Fire or find a way to make American workers retire and then HIRE cheap labor or Asian expatriates?

Economic costs to American workers and nation?  Reports Reuters, President David McCall states:

“U.S. Steel has made it clear, time and again, that its first and only priority is short-term financial gain for shareholders, even if this comes at the expense of workers, their communities and the nation’s lasting capacity to continue meeting its manufacturing needs.”

Speaking of American Jobs and Japan, “Nomura Securities was sued in New York by a former quantitative researcher who said she was underpaid relative to men and fired after insisting that her team “should stop discriminating against women.”

Nomura, why? Says Xue Feng’s lawyer Brendan Sweeney, “Nomura had different rules for men and women.”  US Steel, will Nippon Steel have different rules for American workers and Japanese workers?

Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), will you do what DOJ was incapable of? STEEL is a major component for Defense, Aerospace, Appliances, Construction, and the Automobile Industry – Key part in building a car, EV or Gas powered. Electronics?

Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook stated, “Here’s what we do today. The iPhone is really not made anywhere. It’s made everywhere. That’s the truth.”

Now, if we take Cook’s words and apply them to Nippon Steel, we would find two conflicting truths: US Steel, Japan owned American exporter of steel competes globally with Japan owned Nippon Steel. WTF?

US Corporations, first you went to China, now Chinese are going to you. They own your ass. Japan, first you attacked US, now you buy her. Looks like you lost the battle but won the WAR.

Face it Joe, “The chips are down” because US firms grew dependent on “cheap” chips made abroad. As to the oxymoronic banner of “Buy American,” what exact part of the finished “American” product was made by Americans in the US with ONLY US components/ingredients?

Joe, your idea of ‘Building Back Better’ is revealing you have no backbone. In or out of office, Americans will hold you accountable for “bleeding them dry” of their interests in national and economic security.

Recent US acquisitions aka foreign investments are stripping U.S. priceless “bargaining CHIPS.”

Steel as Semiconductors is now on a growing list of foreign dependence on critical resources.

BUSHwhack, ironically, used to think oceans protected his country. Not after 9/11.

Joe, time you too think again. I remind you of my February 2023 paper, “Offensive Drone Strike ↙↘ On Any Given Sunday.” Keyword is ANY.

This is different world. As you stand witness to your fallen soldiers be reminded, liken to the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the Mediterranean as the Red Sea protects no one.

In THIS election year, no Guts, no Glory!
