Mr. President, You’re Bleeding US Dry: Not Yours to Take and Give Away!
“The power of collecting and disbursing money at pleasure is the most dangerous power that can be entrusted to man, particularly under our system of collecting revenue by a tariff, which reaches every man in the country, no matter how poor he may be, and the poorer he is the more he pays in proportion to his means.” –Colonel David Crockett
Listening to Mama speak with friends and neighbors, I’d overhear time and again about a woman suddenly being without a husband. My first thought was how sad the lady’s husband died or for the mother raising her children alone.
My fear was immediate. How long did my father have to live, I asked Mama. She quickly turned with a look of shock asking what I was talking about. I shared my concerns. Smiling, she explained that the women’s husbands had not died. They had divorced or the men simply left.
In time, I began to see this norm in society. Once again, my fear was immediate. Mama, how long before you and father divorced or he left you? This time she wasn’t smiling.
Potlucks began to be commonly used for women to hold collections. As I watched single mothers smilingly take the earnings of other parents my blood boiled. Damn right, I was not smiling.
Mr. President, Taxpayers money is not yours to take and give away! I am reminded of “The Life of Colonel David Crockett,” by Edward Sylvester Ellis.
In “Not Yours To Give,” we find Col. Crockett, US Representative from Tennessee call attention to a proposed bill in the House of Representatives, “appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer.”
Colonel Crockett points out, “We have the right as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right to appropriate a dollar of the public money.”
Child income tax credit promotes a welfare state It rewards parents for having children they cannot financially afford. Additionally, it sets a bad example for young women inducing them to procreate especially if they are debt strapped with student loans.
Once again, the “cobra effect” has reached out its fangs since the 2008 economic crisis. This “system of collecting revenue” is analogous to collecting blood. Executive orders seem to grant the “blood collectors” the right to use it as they deem fit as they provide a synthetic substitute.
Mr. President, it appears you have given yourself carte blanche as former President Clinton did with Executive Order 13139. Harriet Washington shares her research and views on health systems’ reported use of artificial blood on unknowing citizens in her book, “Carte Blanche.”
You call yourself a capitalist country? Sure, for the wealthy few. Country is in a sorry state of affairs. The rotten smell of dark perverted socialism permeates your land from coast to coast.
Inflation is exacerbated by greedy corporate executives who are bleeding dry their workers. They laugh seeing crowds fund themselves. Focus needs to turn from gofundme to gofuckthem! Boycott and strategically “defund” one at a time.
No “leader of the free world” can continue to bail their banks, businesses, and academia leaving behind young minds strapped to the neck with student debt subsidizing university bastards. Be done with this sick mendacity. We remind you, Revolt comes in many forms and dimensions.
Feeling charitable Mr. President? Dig into your pockets and give it away. In Col. Crockett’s day “There are plenty of wealthy men around Washington who could have given $20,000 without depriving themselves of even a luxury of life.’” Sir, take your philanthropy to your bank.
Public money is to be appropriated for the public as a whole. Otherwise, “while you are contributing to relieve one, you are drawing it from thousands who are even worse off than he.”
What of the lonely mothers with children? For those women who pray to male “Saints” and pays your money to Church collections, forget not your vow, “for better or for worse.”
Admiral William H. McRaven, my Papa and Grand Papa believe in the importance of discipline, responsibility and making your bed. The way I see it, these women chose their husbands and so they must “sleep in the beds they made.”
Mr. President, for those who did not vote for you, it’s high time you “got out of their bed!”
