Keep Your Eye on the Spy. Underground and Skies!
Got just about all I wished for X-mas, except…..Brits, grant my wish and select Tommy as the new ‘Bond Man!’ Sure, I’ve been behaving……naughty and nice!
TSMC, SMIC, Nexperia, Tower Semiconductor, Samsung Semiconductors, NXP, Sony, Inspur, STMicroelectronics, H3C, UMC, OmniSky, MediaTek, Infineon, GlobalFoundries…. Hmm, which semiconductor chip company will the Brits use for their secret gadgets? Keep your eye on the spy. Underground and skies!
Leave it to the Brits to not only thrill us but entertain us with science, technology & spies. I mean, come on, they are after all the creators of the best spy movies, bar none.
And leave it to the Americans to trade a ‘tinker tailor” for a token. Hmm, who had the upper hand in the Russian-US prisoner swap? One can picture their next Grammy award film – Spies, Lies, and Pothead Pawns. Assuming of course it meets their critic’s diversity checklist.
Back to Bond. No doubt, there will never be another Sean Connery. BUT, there is a Tom Hardy!
Even so, I’d certainly understand if you opt for the American actor, Armie Hammer, who doesn’t appear to shy away from taking risks or new challenges. Mr. Hammer, I’d be delighted to hear you “call me by your name.”
Hammer caught my eye in the 2022 film Death on the Nile where his character is alluringly described as an “engorged stallion.” Well, he certainly caught the eye of the renowned director Kenneth Branagh and talented screenwriter Michael Green.
