Paradoxical, after Israel and Lebanon struck a deal on October 27, 2022, IDF let its guard down for Hamas on Oct 7,2023. The following September 2024 Hassan Nasrallah was conveniently killed in an Israeli air strike.

Appears Nasrallah “big big big victory for the state of Lebanon, its citizens and the resistance” was crushingly turned into a dark victory.

But the deadly seed had already been planted over a decade ago.

In January 2011, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly described the offshore gas fields as a “strategic objective that Israel’s enemies will try to undermine” and vowed that “Israel will defend its resources.”
