US Striking Lightning Twice!! Recalling California Governor
“Start spreading the news, I’m leaving today…”
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo reportedly said that for him to resign lightning would have to strike him down. Looks like the “almighty” heard.
California Governor Gavin Newsom faces a recall election. Criticism points to disastrous mishandling of the pandemic, homelessness, fires, drought, etc. Will it take more than an “Act of God” to strike the governor down?
In The Atlantic August 27, 2021 article, “What California’s Recall Election Says About America,” we find what Governor Newsom has to say, “His experts tell him that if everyone got vaccinated and wore masks, in just four to six weeks, the virus and the shutdowns and the masking would be done—“So why recall the Governor? For him “That’s the absurdity of this thing.”
Who are these “experts” Governor? Neither States nor viruses live in a vacuum. What of countless travelers coming from abroad, thousands of refugees and immigrants from the north and south that cannot or will not abide by your proposal?
Sir, now, “That’s the absurdity of this thing.”

“Home Burnt Home” Dangers Facing Californians
Several allegations were directed toward Governor Andrew Cuomo: Primarily, mishandling of the pandemic, especially as it relates to countless deaths in nursing homes. Family members, unable to be with their loved ones, awaited the painful news: sorry, they died alone.
Californians every year also await the dangers of both fires and drought.
Governor Gavin Newsom is the same “public servant” reported to be dining with lobbyists among others in a restaurant UNMASKED, after mandating masks and ordering lockdowns leading to the closure of small businesses. Businesses that had recently opened and many others built decades earlier – neither coming back.
California is burning, but Edison does not stand to take responsibility for the recent fires. Governor too sits appearing not to take a stand on holding them accountable. The 1996 “Electric Utility Industry Restructuring Act” was an attempt to curtail market manipulation.
However, electricity crisis of blackouts and bankruptcies continue. Problem stems from countless blatant conflicts of interests.
Recall Newsom also sits as President of the Board of Regents of the University of California. Are members appointed by the Governor Newsom serving the interests of the People of California?

GOT POWER & WATER?
Fires and forced lockdowns have either burned down homes or forced people to vacate them. Reportedly, State of California continues to have insufficient funding for Fire Departments. Also, reportedstaffing shortages do no inspire confidence.
The San Francisco Gate highlights Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E). Utility company stated in a May press release, “Engineering an underground system requires designing the system around existing water, natural gas and drainage systems, as well as planning for future road widening and the possibility of a sewer system for Paradise.” No problem PG&E. Heard of the Stimulus Package? Infrastructure is included. Right let’s see how the Governor “allocates” it.
Adding insult to injury, the Governor is asking the public to conserve water. Oh, sure Governor, mandate business lockdowns and vaccinations but voluntarily cut back on water?
According to Dennis Wyatt, Turlock Journal, July 13, 2021 article, “Governor Newsom is playing politics with the very lifeblood of California, our water.”
“Newsom can’t even bring himself to simply declare a drought emergency in the Los Angeles Basin and San Diego even though the science…has determined they are in extreme and severe drought respectively.”
Corruptly and dangerously, as one hand opened the door to energy and water companies’ market manipulation, the other brought down the fist of the law to shut down one’s livelihood and now the “very lifeblood of California, our water.”
Adds Wyatt, “The chances recall politics aren’t behind his tepid, inadequate, and borderline irresponsible approach to the growing drought emergency is about as high as an ice cube lasting an hour on the pavement in Death Valley where the high is expected to reach 130 degrees on Sunday.”
Health and Homelessness Crises, Fires, Water Shortage, Blackouts………………….! Governor Gavin Newsom, what’s not to like?
Critiques point to your options when recalled: Wine country, Biden Administration or Campaigning for President. Whether you retire in the sun with your burnt or sour “grapes of wrath” or find your place with the Democrats in Washington, you’ll fit right in. Any ideas of sitting in the oval office? Now “That’s the absurdity of this thing.”
It took months for lightning to fire up New York and oust their Governor. It’s high-time lightning struck twice and recalled California’s Governor.
